Terms governing use of Echobotics.

By creating an account or accessing Echobotics (the Service), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (Terms). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

Echobotics is a hiring intelligence workspace that provides AI-assisted resume screening, candidate ranking, job description drafting, pipeline management, and workspace chat features to hiring teams.

The Service is made available on a subscription credit basis. Features may vary by plan. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including your name, organisation name, work email, and mobile number for verification.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@echobotics.in if you suspect any unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of abuse, unauthorised access, or policy violations.

Access to AI features is governed by a credit system. Credits are consumed when AI operations are performed — including resume screening, candidate ranking, JD generation, and workspace chat.

Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless expressly stated in your plan.

Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. By completing a purchase, you authorise the charge to your designated payment method. All amounts are stated in the currency shown at checkout.

We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice communicated via email or in-product notification.

You agree to use Echobotics only for lawful hiring and recruitment purposes. You must not:

— Upload content you are not authorised to process, including candidate data obtained without proper consent.

— Use the Service to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics.

— Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or systems.

— Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written authorisation.

— Use the Service in any way that violates applicable employment law, data protection law, or anti-discrimination regulations.

You retain all ownership rights to the resumes, job descriptions, candidate notes, and other materials you submit to the platform ('Customer Content').

By uploading Customer Content, you grant Echobotics a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store that content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have lawful grounds to process candidate personal data — including obtaining candidate consent where required under applicable data protection law (such as DPDPA 2023 in India or GDPR in Europe).

We do not use your Customer Content to train AI models or share it with third parties outside of what is necessary to operate the Service.

Echobotics uses large language models to generate candidate summaries, scores, rankings, job descriptions, and interview questions. These outputs are provided as analytical assistance and do not constitute professional HR, legal, or employment advice.

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before acting on it. Final hiring decisions must remain with qualified human reviewers. Echobotics is not liable for decisions made based solely on AI output.

AI scores and rankings reflect patterns in text data and may not capture the full picture of a candidate's suitability. Do not use scores as the sole criterion for rejection or selection.

All technology, design, software, and brand assets in the Service are the property of Echobotics and its licensors. No licence to these assets is granted by use of the Service.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share about the Service may be used by us to improve the product without obligation to you.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@echobotics.in. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and your Customer Content may be deleted after a 30-day retention period.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or engage in activity harmful to other users or the Service.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.

The Service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Echobotics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Echobotics in the three months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
